Obituary of Leslie Terry Wilson

Leslie T. “Babe” Wilson, age 68 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died unexpectedly Saturday, (7/3/2021) in the Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, PA. Mr. Wilson was born February 14, 1953 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Wilbert Earl Wilson, Sr. and Thelma Robinson Wilson. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church. Babe was a 1972 graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School. He was employed as a School Bus Driver for DMJ Transportation, Inc. Babe is best known as an accomplished musician and singer who could play piano, bass guitar and drums. His musical talents were heard and will be remembered by many who listened to some of the local bands including METRO and Studio E Band. Babe is survived by his loving family: his wife of 29 years, Antoinette “Toni” Brown Wilson and his beloved children, Eboni Angel Wilson and Elijah Marcell Wilson. He is also survived by his sister and brothers, Harriet Wilson of Mt. Pleasant, Wilbert Earl “Skip” (Alberta) Wilson, Jr. of Virginia Beach and Donald K. (Cassandra) Wilson of Mt. Pleasant and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Babe was preceded in death by his sisters, Donna Jean Terry, and Ellen Bundridge. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 3 until 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Babe will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the New Stanton Church, 612 South Center Ave., New Stanton,PA with the Rev. Stephen Bane and his nephew, the Rev. Kevin Bundridge Co-officiating. Private Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made to: Mt.
