Obituary of Daniel Paul Citro

Daniel Paul Citro, 79, of Mount Pleasant died Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at UPMC-Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mr. Citro was born May 20, 1942 in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Daniel L. and Anna (Wasko) Citro. He was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the 1960’s. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a Quality Control Technician for PPG. He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 55 years, Jo Ann (Porterfield) Citro, and his daughters, Danielle (Chris) Anderson and Deanna (John) Conte and sisters, Linda Davis, Eunice Slater, and Amelia Hartsgrove. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and two grand puppies. Family and friends will be received from noon until the time of his Funeral Service at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the GALONE-CARUSO FUNERAL HOME, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. Military rites will be accorded by the Mt. Pleasant American Legion. Private Entombment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
