Obituary of Mario Anzelone

Mario Anzelone, 92, of Greensburg formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday November 9, 2023 at his residence.  Mario was born August 13, 1931 in Pittsburgh to the late Luigi and Pearl Festa Anzelone.

Mario proudly served his country in the United States Army as a member of the Old Guard in Arlington Virginia.  He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant American Legion Post 446 and a member of the Local Union 1451.  Mario enjoyed swimming at the YMCA in Greensburg and spending time with his family.

Mario is survived by his son, Joseph M. Anzelone (Lorna); his grandchildren, Alexander Anzelone (Cyndal), and Alise Anzelone; his great-grandchildren, Dominic, Jaxson, and Adley Anzelone; his sister, Barbara Stout; and numerous nieces, and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mario was preceded in death by his brothers, Guy, Samuel, Louis, and Alphonse Anzelone.
